Indonesia is the world's largest palm oil producer with a land area of 14.3 million as 2019. With this area, it will produce biomass in form replanted stems, midribs, empty bunches (TKKS), shells and fruit fibers. Biomass waste, including solid has potential to be used raw material for renewable energy or bioenergy. This study aims utilize plantation waste into bio briquettes. The materials were (TKKS) shell waste. Bio made by pyrolysis process. research produces products, namely substitute diesel fuel from EFB Found bio-oil, aromatic compounds, aliphatic hydrocarbon acid compounds compounds. Hydrocarbon are that exist oil. In OPEFB oil, 19 types found. Meanwhile, briquettes calorific value > 5000 which met Indonesian national standard (SNI) 01-6235 2000. water content meets National Standard, maximum 15%.
